In the Nikolaev region, two guys were injured during field work as a result of the detonation of an explosive object. On the evening of April 26, at the duty station of police station No. 2 of the Bashtansky district department received a report from a medical institution about the hospitalization of two young people, 18 and 19 years old, with mine-explosive injuries and multiple shrapnel wounds, regional police reported. </p> <p>Police officers found out that the young people were injured during field work. one of them found and picked up an unknown object, which immediately detonated.</p> <p>As a result of the explosion, the victims received multiple injuries and are in the hospital. Currently, their lives are not in danger.</p> <p. >At the scene of the incident, specialists from the police explosives department discovered and seized debris and remains of metal parts from the fuse to the Hurricane combat cluster element. residents of the Bashtansky district should be extremely careful when discovering unknown objects, especially in de-occupied territories and in places where active hostilities took place. Refrain from visiting areas that have not been surveyed by sappers.</p> <p>If you come across a suspicious object or one that looks explosive from the outside, do not approach it, do not try to move it, disassemble it, or neutralize it yourself. If possible, fence off the location of the find and be sure to notify the police on special line 102 or the rescue service – 101. Do not allow unauthorized persons to approach the dangerous find.
