As the speaker of the Southern Defense Forces Dmitry Pletenchuk said on the telethon, the Russian military periodically tries to land on the island, suffering heavy losses in the process, writes RBC-Ukraine.
“The fighting continues constantly, they (the Russians – ed.) try to land there periodically. Therefore, accordingly, we are forced to repel these attacks. There is now a high density of FPV drones there, we are talking about hundreds. But from our side it is the same they are being used,” said Pletenchuk.
According to him, the Russian Federation is suffering serious losses there; yesterday alone in this direction there were 115 personnel losses, half of them were dead.
