During 2023, Eurostat asked residents of European countries to rate their satisfaction with life. According to the survey results, Bulgaria, which is popular among tourists, became the most unhappy country in Europe.
Residents of European countries had to rate their satisfaction with life from 0 to 10 points. Bulgarians rated their level of happiness at just 5.6 points, making their country the most unhappy in the region for the second year in a row.

At the same time, citizens of a country with a rich history, which is known for its nature and even wine, apparently, they are dissatisfied with their standard of living.
