The Ukrainian leader, in an interview with the Italian TV channel Rai1, said that a stalemate had developed at the front due to the delay of equipment and weapons from our country’s Western allies, NBN reports.
According to the guarantor, delays in arms supplies “are mistakes.” The President recalled that Ukraine is at war with terrorists, whose army is one of the largest in the world. The Armed Forces of Ukraine do not have enough ammunition, in addition, they need modern technical means.
At the same time, as Zelensky recalled, the defenders achieved success in naval operations – the aggressor country lost many ships.
The head of state noted that Putin wants to deprive our country of independence and make it part of the “empire” – this is his main goal in the war. The leader of the Ukrainians emphasized that the Kremlin began to publicly say that it had not fulfilled its tasks, hinting that the Russian Federation would not stop.
The Guarantor emphasized that he believes in Ukraine’s victory in this war, victory over evil, adding that during two years of a full-scale invasion he never thought of giving up.
Earlier, a military expert called the situation at the front a stalemate and told what the defenders needed to turn the corner on the battlefield.
