In a comment to reporters, the head of the foreign policy department admitted that he was already tired of answering the question of long-range Taurus missiles, which the German government refuses to transfer to Ukraine, is reported by NBN with reference to the American publication Politico.
The minister noted that media representatives can quote his words. However, according to the diplomat, every time he answers a question about the provision of long-range weapons by Berlin, irritated comments come from the German capital.
The Foreign Minister suggested “leaving it to them,” noting that the German authorities themselves drove find themselves in this situation and must look for a way out.
Note that German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has recently repeatedly refused to supply Taurus to Ukraine. In addition, last week, before the meeting in the Ramstein format, the head of the German Ministry of Defense, Boris Pistorius, also made a statement about providing the Ukrainian Armed Forces with long-range weapons.
