On the fact that Ukraine has the right to carry out shelling of military targets on the territory of the Russian Federation, since such retaliatory measures are provided for by the norms of international law regarding self-defense, writes NBN, citing a statement by NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg, published “European truth.”
According to Stoltenberg, in accordance with international law, Ukraine has a proper right to self-defense. At the same time, NATO member countries directly support Ukraine in the implementation of this right, providing both weapons and equipment, including long-range missiles, in particular ATACMS.
The Secretary General of the North Atlantic Alliance welcomed the US decision on ;easing a number of restrictions on the use of its long-range missiles across the territory of the Russian Federation, since Putin’s army has again become active in the Kharkov region and clashes are taking place almost along the entire front line.
