Tsygankov spent only 45 minutes on the pitch, and his performance raised questions. With a rating of 6.7, he was the weakest among Girona's starting players, which underlines the lackluster nature of his performances. The midfielder completed 14 of 17 accurate passes, tried to dribble twice, but was successful only once. Tsygankov touched the ball 30 times in the first half, but this was not enough to convince the coaching staff to leave him on the pitch for the second half.
After a brilliant performance in the previous round, where Tsygankov scored a goal and made an assist in the match against Osasuna, expectations were high for him in the game against Sevilla. However, the Ukrainian was unable to repeat his success, and his substitution at half-time was proof of this. Now he has to prove that this match was just an unfortunate exception, and not a sign of a decline in form. There are still many games ahead, and Tsygankov will have a chance to rehabilitate himself.
