As reported by NBN with reference to the results of a sociological study conducted by the Warsaw Mieroszewski Center: only 23 percent of Poles have a positive attitude towards Ukrainians, 35 percent are negative, and 41 percent took a neutral position.

If we compare it with an identical study of the opinion of Poles conducted in February 2024, the positive indicator “sagged” by 2 percent, and the negative one grew by 1 percent.

In addition, the autumn-winter A social survey showed that 49 percent of Poles approve of providing further military assistance to Kyiv, while 35 percent disagree with such support from Warsaw. At the same time, 40 percent of Polish respondents are confident in the need to extend assistance to refugees from Ukraine, while 37 percent have the opposite opinion.

Also, the majority of Poles (56 percent) are in favor of the post-war return of Ukrainian refugees to their homeland, or 14 percent of citizens of the neighboring state spoke out against such “expulsion” (30 percent were undecided).

Earlier, we wrote about how many Ukrainians will try to leave the country after the borders open.
