As reported by NBN with reference to the YouTube channel Suspilne.Novini, a representative of the operational-tactical group (OTGV) “Lugansk” Lieutenant Colonel Dmitry Zaporozhets explained that 10 enemy assaults were recorded in the city of Toretsk during the day.
Based on Zaporozhets' words, the “second army of peace” is trying to carry out assault operations, trying to squeeze through from the southern and northern flanks controlled by the 12th Azov Brigade and other units of the Defense Forces located in Toretsk. However, the “liberators” cannot implement their plans, since the defenders detect the enemy's advance in advance and “demilitarize” the Russians.
In addition, the other day in the area of Chasovy Yar the enemy attempted to storm the positions of the Defense Forces, throwing armored vehicles into battle, and, as a result, the Ukrainian Armed Forces fighters destroyed five armored combat vehicles.
Also, recently the enemies have been more intensively carrying out airstrikes on the outskirts of Toretsk and adjacent settlements.
