Since August 2022, mandatory evacuation measures have begun in the communities of the Donetsk region, directly affecting the local civilian population.

As reported by NBN with reference to Ukrinform, the head of one of the departments of the Department responsible for regulating issues of civil defense, mobilization and defense work of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration (OVA) Dmitry Petlin made a statement – at the current stage, more than 280,000 civilians remain on the territory of the region controlled by our country.
Based on Petlin's laconic words, mandatory evacuation is not stopping, and as of the beginning of this month, 1,216,000 civilians have been evacuated from the war-torn territory of Donetsk (from the part controlled by the Ukrainian authorities) (these figures include 189,700 minors, as well as at least 46,500 people with disabilities).
However, the official clarified that in this de facto frontline region, there are still about 284,000 people, including 21,940 children.
