In Lviv Oblast, the SBU detained a member of an international drug syndicate who was wanted by Interpol. This is a foreigner who came to Ukraine to avoid responsibility.
He is suspected of participating in an organized criminal group engaged in the smuggling and sale of psychotropic drugs in the EU. The SBU reported this.
“The perpetrator had been wanted by Interpol for 6 years,” the report says.
The SBU conducted a multi-stage operation to detain the suspect. He is currently in custody awaiting extradition.
