Ukrainian singer MELOVIN has revealed that he recently faced serious health issues and was forced to seek professional help. The artist was admitted to a psychiatric clinic in Kharkiv, where he received the necessary treatment, reports Baltimore Chronicle.
The performer explained that his condition required urgent medical support. He noted that a long course of therapy still lies ahead, but expressed gratitude to those close to him who first noticed his distress and helped him seek medical assistance in time.
MELOVIN also disclosed the preliminary diagnosis given by the doctors. According to him, he was diagnosed with generalized anxiety disorder and a major depressive episode. The singer admitted that he had been struggling with persistent anxiety, low mood, an overwhelming sense of danger, and constant inner tension that he could not relieve.
In addition, he has been suffering from shallow sleep with frequent awakenings and disturbing nightmares. According to the artist, these symptoms became the main reason for his hospitalization.
