Bayern Munich has found a reserve player for its team's top scorer.
According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, the Reds are keeping a close eye on 23-year-old Stuttgart striker Nick Woltemade, who is being considered as a backup for Harry Kane from next season. His current contract with the Swabians runs until the end of June 2028, and there is no release clause in the agreement.
Voltemade has 12 goals and three assists in 24 appearances at club level this season. Popular website Transfermarkt estimates his value at €7.5 million.
Mainz's Jonathan Burkardt, 24, is another candidate on Bayern's list, while Max Eberel and Christoph Freund are still in talks with other clubs behind the scenes.
Let us recall that Bayern is leading the Bundesliga standings, having scored 62 points after 26 rounds played.
