Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza will become a real restaurant in New Jersey in 2027. The venue will recreate the fictional location from Five Nights at Freddy’s. It is planned for American Dream in East Rutherford, according to Baltimore Chronicle.
The project was first detailed by Variety. American Dream has also publicly confirmed that Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is coming to the complex in 2027.
Where will the real Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza open?
The new FNAF restaurant will operate inside American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The huge entertainment complex sits near New York City and already houses major family attractions.
Unlike a temporary themed exhibition, the project is being developed as an operating quick-service restaurant. American Dream is working with ScottGames, which controls the Five Nights at Freddy’s intellectual property.
Visitors are expected to find several experiences inside:
- food served at the Freddy Fazbear-themed restaurant;
- classic-style arcade games;
- live animatronic performances;
- multiplayer survival-horror gaming experiences;
- environments inspired by the FNAF universe.
The format makes the attraction closer to a functioning fictional location than a conventional franchise display. Authenticity is central to the concept, according to the development team.
What will the FNAF animatronics do?
Two separate animatronic shows are planned. Freddy and the Fazbear Band will perform on the Main Stage. Foxy the Pirate will receive a separate show at Pirate Cove.

Why the real FNAF pizzeria could attract more than game fans
Scott Cawthon created Five Nights at Freddy’s around threatening animatronics and mysterious restaurant locations. The franchise later expanded into novels, graphic novels and movies.
American Dream already combines shopping with attractions including Nickelodeon Universe and DreamWorks Water Park. The FNAF restaurant adds a darker entertainment concept to that lineup.
For longtime fans, the key selling point will be recognition. New visitors will instead encounter Freddy, Foxy and the franchise’s unusual restaurant mythology through a physical experience.
