Netflix’s globally popular series Stranger Things may have concluded its storyline, but the legacy of Hawkins continues to inspire collaborations. Nike has announced the last installment in its sneaker partnership with the franchise: a Vecna-themed edition of the Air Foamposite One, dropping this week, reports Baltimore Chronicle via Nike.
The previous Stranger Things x Nike and Converse collection, released last November, offered fans footwear and apparel reflecting the characters’ looks from the show’s final season. This new Foamposite One colorway, inspired by the villain Vecna, was revealed in February 2026, long after the series finale aired. It is designed to capture the eerie aesthetic of the Upside Down while retaining the classic basketball sneaker silhouette.

The Nike Air Foamposite One x Stranger Things “Vecna” colorway will be available at 10:00 a.m. EST on Friday, February 27. Adult sizes are priced at $250 and can be purchased through the Nike SNKRS app and at Foot Locker stores. The release does not include youth sizes. Given the popularity of previous Stranger Things collaborations, these sneakers are expected to sell out quickly. Fans who miss the initial drop may turn to verified resale platforms such as StockX and GOAT.
The design features a gradient upper transitioning from Black to Bright Crimson, accented with lightning bolt motifs. Off-Noir vine patterns, representing the vines around Vecna’s throne, wrap around the shoe and glow in the dark. The synthetic leather has a cracked effect, complemented by distressed laces to create a vintage appearance. Additionally, the heels feature NBA star Penny Hardaway’s “1 Cent” logo inverted, highlighting the sneaker’s connection to 1990s basketball culture.
Packaging for the Vecna Foamposites follows the theme of the series, with pre-aged boxes and Stranger Things branding throughout. The set includes collectible pins referencing elements of the show, such as the Hellfire Club, WSQK radio, Bradley’s Big Buy, and even a rubber chicken, designed to become memorabilia for fans of the franchise.

Although the Air Foamposite One is not officially part of Hardaway’s signature line, the sneaker remains linked to his 1990s basketball era. Pairing this iconic silhouette with Stranger Things imagery makes this drop particularly appealing to collectors. As the final Stranger Things-inspired sneaker, the release represents the end of an era for the collaboration, offering fans a tangible piece of Hawkins lore.
