Ignat reported this information on air at the telethon, URA-Inform reports.
Speaker of the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Yuriy Ignat answered whether the publication of Western media about the likelihood of a shortage of missiles for the Patriot air defense system in Ukraine is true.
He noted that Ukraine had a shortage of missiles, is and will always be. After all, Russia is attacking us with a huge number of air attack weapons. These include missiles and drones. Ignat recalled that sometimes the number of enemy UAVs per day reaches hundreds.
“Therefore, of course, our top military-political leadership turns to our partners in order to so that the need that exists after a certain period is replenished in Ukraine to repel an air attack. It's logical. We cannot keep a large number of missiles in Ukraine at some sites, because the enemy will find out,” noted the speaker of the Air Force of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
He emphasized that Ukraine needs to constantly replenish those missiles which she spends. According to him, this issue is urgent now. At the same time, Ignat noted that now everything is being done to ensure that we are protected.
We recall that it was previously reported that the time is decisive: Zelensky said that surviving this year means surviving the entire war.
