This was announced by the representative of the Defense Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Tauride direction, Alexander Shtupun, during a speech in telethon, reports URA-Inform.
According to Shtupun, the Russian army has set itself a new strategic goal – the capture of Novomikhailovka in the Donetsk region. He noted that enemy forces are most active in the Maryinsky and Avdeevsky directions, making attempts to encircle Avdeevka.
According to him, they are currently also seeking to enter Novomikhailovka in order to completely control this settlement. Shtupun emphasized that Russian troops are increasing their influence, especially in increasing the use of armored vehicles and front-line aviation.
This may indicate the growing intensity of military operations and changing tactics within the current conflict.
