Glen Burnie Splash Pad Delivers a Long-Awaited Project
Residents first requested the project in 2013. More than a decade later, county officials formally opened the completed recreation space.
Councilwoman Allison Pickard described the opening as a major achievement for northern Anne Arundel County. She had advocated for equal access to modern public facilities.
The project moved from a budget document to a functioning community space.
