The domestic “working” market of our country in 2024, in general, will maintain the dynamics of previous years, contrary to the intentions of key enterprises and structures regarding significant staff reductions, and therefore we should prepare for “improvements” within the new Labor Code.

About the fact that this month a discussion of the draft amended “Code of Labor Laws” developed by the economic department is planned, writes NBN, citing the official page of the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine.

According to the head of the Ministry of Economy Yulia Sviridenko, the Ukrainian labor market still operates in accordance with the “Code of Labor Laws” from 1971, which actually does not comply with the requirements of the time, slowing down the process of economic development. It is for this reason that the purpose of the amendments to the described set of documents is to create such conditions so that those wishing to work can do so without hindrance, and therefore it is proposed to officially introduce the concepts of:

  • remote work;
  • home work;
  • non-fixed working hours.

In addition, the procedure for collecting information about the employee will be finally “digitalized”, and a complete refusal is expected from paper work books.

Sviridenko emphasized:

Our goal is to create conditions so that those who want to work, could do this without hindrance.

Earlier, we wrote about how the salaries of the Restoration Army fighters will increase in the current year.
