Netanyahu emphasized that for 47 years, the Iranian regime under the ayatollahs has repeatedly called for the destruction of Israel and the United States, spilling Israeli blood, killing numerous Americans, and committing atrocities against its own people. The prime minister highlighted the longstanding and lethal nature of Iran’s actions, framing the current military operation as a necessary step to address decades of hostility.

In his address, Netanyahu expressed gratitude to “our great friend, President Donald Trump,” for what he called “historic leadership” in supporting the operation. He underscored that joint Israeli-American efforts aim to empower the Iranian people to reclaim their future. Netanyahu specifically mentioned Persians, Kurds, Azerbaijanis, Baloch, and Ahvazi as groups encouraged to rise against the current regime and pursue a free and peaceful Iran.
The prime minister also urged Israeli citizens to follow instructions from the Home Front Command, warning that patience and resilience would be required in the coming days during what has been designated as Operation “Roar of the Lion.”
Meanwhile, Israel has issued alerts for potential missile attacks originating from Iran. Residents are sheltering, and the Israeli Defense Forces reported that its air defense systems are actively intercepting incoming rockets. Authorities continue to monitor the situation closely as operations proceed.
