Barbie stamps are available from July 11, featuring the famous doll in 10 professional roles across different decades. The USPS release combines pop culture, career history and collectible design, as the Baltimore Chronicle editorial team notes, according to the U.S. Postal Service.
What careers appear on the new Barbie stamps
The U.S. Postal Service developed the collection with Mattel. Each design presents an era-appropriate Barbie wearing clothing linked to a specific occupation.
The sheet includes these careers:
- registered nurse from 1961;
- surgeon from 1973;
- astronaut from 1986;
- firefighter from 1995;
- paleontologist from 1996;
- sign language teacher from 2000;
- robotics engineer from 2018;
- judge from 2019;
- soccer player from 2022;
- music star from 2025.
The selection follows Barbie’s changing professional image across more than 60 years. It also places science, medicine, education, sport and entertainment within one compact collection.
Where to buy Barbie stamps
The Barbie Forever stamps debuted during the 2026 National Barbie Doll Collectors Convention in Austin, Texas. The public first-day event began at 10 a.m. Central on July 11.

Art director Ethel Kessler worked with Mattel on the designs. Bright shades and the recognizable Barbie Pink palette were chosen to create an energetic appearance.

Barbie stamp price changes one day after release
The stamps entered circulation as Forever stamps. They remain valid for one-ounce First-Class Mail regardless of later price increases.
A single Forever stamp costs 78 cents on July 11. The rate rises to 82 cents on July 12, following the USPS summer price adjustment.
Collectors buying a pane on release day pay $7.80. The same 10-stamp value becomes $8.20 under the new rate. Previously purchased stamps require no additional postage for eligible letters.
