Gianna Romero Miss Maryland 2026 became the newest state titleholder after winning this weekend’s competition in Hagerstown. The Harford County native will now represent Maryland on the national stage, as the Baltimore Chronicle editorial team reports.
Harford County Native Takes The State Crown
Romero graduated from John Carroll School in Bel Air in 2023. She currently studies at Stevenson University and entered the state competition as Miss Washington County.
Her victory gives Harford County a new representative in the Miss America program. The title also places Romero among the state’s most visible young community ambassadors.

Aryani Odie Wins Miss Maryland’s Teen 2026
Maryland also selected its teen representative during the Hagerstown competition. Aryani Odie of Pikesville received the Miss Maryland’s Teen 2026 title.
Odie will represent the state within the national teen program. Her victory completed a notable competition weekend for both Maryland titleholders.
