Viktor is preparing to help the “blue-yellows” in the decisive match of selection for the continental championship.
Ukrainian national team midfielder Viktor Tsygankov returned to training in the general group of the national team on the eve of the final match of the play-off selection for Euro 2024against Iceland.
According to the official website of the UAF, on Saturday, March 23, the winger of the Spanish “Girona” took part in the “blue-yellows” training for the first time at the March training camp. The 26-year-old attacking midfielder spent the entire session with his partners.
Note that due to injury, Tsygankov was not included in the Ukrainian national team’s squad for the semi-final qualifying playoff match for the 2024 European Championship against Bosnia and Herzegovina, in which Sergei Rebrov's team made a comeback (2:1) and continued the fight for getting into the continental championship.
The match between Ukraine and Iceland will take place on Tuesday, March 26, at the Tarczynski Arena Wroclaw “in Wroclaw, Poland. The starting whistle will sound at 21:45 Kyiv time.
