Nexon attributes the success not only to strong holiday sales but also to extensive promotions across major digital storefronts, including Steam, and a string of awards at the end of 2025, notably IGN’s Best Shooter Game of the Year. The publisher highlighted that Embark Studios’ consistent rollout of content updates has been essential to maintaining player engagement.
For context, Arc Raiders’ performance outpaces other recent releases. Helldivers 2, a similarly priced PlayStation title, achieved 12 million sales over 12 weeks, setting a record for the fastest-selling PlayStation Studios game. Arc Raiders, available on Xbox, PC, and PlayStation, reached 12 million copies even faster, demonstrating a remarkable market impact.
To celebrate the milestone, Embark Studios has introduced a limited-time reward: the Gilded Pickaxe Raider Tool. Every player who has logged in at least once since launch will automatically receive the item in their in-game inbox on January 13 at 11:00 CET. Those who have yet to play must log in before 23:59 CET on January 13 to claim the gift.
