DTEK has received the first components from Danish manufacturer Vestas for the construction of the second phase of the Tyligulska Wind Power Plant (WPP). This phase involves the installation of 64 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 384 MW, reports the Baltimore Chronicle, citing a DTEK statement.
The first phase of the Tyligulska WPP, delivering 114 MW of capacity, was launched in 2023. Upon completion of the second phase, the total output of the plant will reach 498 MW, making it the largest wind power facility in Ukraine.
The construction of the second stage is supported by Danish partners, particularly Vestas, a global leader in wind turbine manufacturing. The delivery of equipment from Denmark marks a significant milestone in the project, which is expected to contribute to Ukraine’s energy resilience and the broader development of renewable energy infrastructure.
