President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, upon arriving in New York to attend the UN General Assembly, held several important meetings, reports Baltimore Chronicle citing the official Telegram channel of the head of state.
According to the statement, Zelenskyy met with the Managing Director of the International Monetary Fund, Kristalina Georgieva. They discussed the possibility of using frozen Russian assets for the benefit of Ukraine and considered various options for further cooperation, including a new program aimed at strengthening Ukraine’s resilience in the coming years. The president emphasized that the Ukrainian government and the IMF agreed on continued close cooperation.
