Without an electronic referral, Ukrainians can contact seven specialists.
The Ministry of Health reported this on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.
«Usually, in order to get a free consultation with a medical specialist, you need to have an electronic referral. But some specialists can be contacted even without a referral, and this visit will be covered by the medical guarantee program. These are: an obstetrician-gynecologist, a psychiatrist, a psychologist, a narcologist, a phthisiatrician, a pediatrician, an attending physician whose patient with a chronic disease is under control,” the message says.
As the Ministry of Health notes, To receive a free consultation, you must contact a medical institution that has an agreement with the NHSU for the package “Prevention, diagnosis, observation and treatment on an outpatient basis.” and the relevant specialist.
You can find out the contacts of the nearest institution with the contract in the NSZU contact center at 16-77. Whether the required medical specialist works in the hospital, you can ask by calling the medical institution directly.
As Ukrinform reported, the Medical Guarantee Program for 2024 began to operate on January 1, its budget is more than 159 billion hryvnia, of which 5.2 billion hryvnia were allocated for reimbursement of medicines. The medical guarantee program includes 44 packages of medical services.
