The Cabinet of Ministers recognized Resolution No. 153 “On certain issues to ensure imports” dated February 24, 2022 (formerly known as Resolution on the list of critical import goods) which has become invalid in order to create favorable conditions for the import of goods and meet the needs of national enterprises in the conditions of Russian military aggression.
The abolished Resolution No. 153 in its latest edition contained a list of services, works, rights intellectual property, other non-property rights, the import of which the NBU should have allowed.
“We are abolishing Cabinet Resolution No. 153, which limited payments for the import of goods and services. Such liberalization will open up new opportunities for Ukrainian entrepreneurs – to enter new markets, strengthen Ukrainian exports, create new projects and new jobs in Ukraine,” Shmyhal noted.
