From initially serving as a messenger for messaging, Telegram has turned into a global social network, which is the focus of media, marketers, influencers and PR people, writes WomanEL.
More than 33 thousand active Telegram channels are registered in Ukraine, numbering more than 282.6 million readers. It’s impressive that every Ukrainian can be subscribed to several channels, which significantly exceeds the country’s population.

Ukrainians were also actively collecting funds in banks (this is an online function of a bank where you can accumulate funds). The study found that during the period from January 1 to November 1, Ukrainians sent 38.5 thousand cans through the messenger, the most popular among which were cars, bringing in almost 900 million hryvnia. Donations for the Armed Forces of Ukraine collected 4,614 cans and 383 million 105,904 hryvnia. Ukrainians on Telegram collected 963 million 818 352 hryvnia for drones.
Telegram users around the world showed particular interest in the “Erotica” section. There are almost 1.2 billion connoisseurs here. The second most popular category was “Movies” with 745 million readers, and the third place was taken by the “Betting and Casino” category with 650 million subscribers.
