Zelensky met with Scholz in Berlin. This year, Germany will provide military assistance of more than 7 billion euros.

After the signing, they planned to travel together to France to meet with Emmanuel Macron.

Previously, Ukraine signed a bilateral security agreement with the UK. it is designed for 10 years.

“It seems that the security agreements are aimed primarily at showing long-term solidarity, since Ukraine has switched to defense in the war,” the publication writes.

A French official, anonymously, said that the agreement with Ukraine would include financial support, as well as military commitments and security arrangements.

The UK-Ukraine agreement is designed to help build Ukrainian defense production and provide “immediate and sustainable security assistance” if Russia attacks again.
