Clifton Park Pool closed early on Saturday evening after reports of violent threats and public disturbances. The Baltimore City Department of Recreation & Parks sent a BCRP Alert at 6:30 p.m. on June 6, confirming the early closure, as reported by Baltimore Chronicle.

What happened at Clifton Park Pool

City officials said the closure was linked to safety concerns around the public pool. The facility is located at 2013 Sinclair Lane. It normally operates on weekends from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. and again from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

The incident added to a difficult day for Baltimore’s public pools. Patterson Park Pool was also closed Saturday after vandalism overnight from Friday into Saturday.
