Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky announced this.

“Next week there will also be quite a lot of international communication – both public and non-public. We remember what this year should bring us in a political sense. This is also the result with the European Union. Ukraine has fulfilled all the necessary conditions for the real start of accession negotiations, and now its the obligations must be fulfilled by the European Union,” the president said.

He also noted that Ukraine is preparing for the June Peace Summit, and teams are working to make it global.

“The world majority must force Russia to peace and can do this. It is in June that the path to a just peace can begin,” the head of state noted.

In addition, preparations are underway for the NATO summit, which will take place this summer.

“We need a strong political signal – the Alliance should not be afraid of its own strength and hide from its own foundations. Every country that shares common values and is ready to really defend them deserves an invitation to the Alliance,” Zelensky added.
