The nominees for the 68th Annual Grammy Awards in 2026 have been officially announced. This year, Kendrick Lamar leads with nine nominations, followed by Lady Gaga with seven and Bad Bunny with six. The ceremony is scheduled for February 1, 2026, and is expected to be one of the most remarkable nights in the music industry, reports Baltimore Chronicle with reference to Grammy.

Kendrick Lamar, who made history last year by winning all five awards he was nominated for with his track Not Like Us, is once again at the forefront of the nominations. Lady Gaga surpassed her previous record from 2010, securing nominations in three of the four major categories: Album of the Year, Record of the Year, and Song of the Year. Producers Jack Antonoff and Cirkut are also tied with seven nominations each.

Bad Bunny, recently announced as the headliner for the 2026 Super Bowl halftime show, earned six nominations. These include Album of the Year, Best Música Urbana Album, and the newly introduced Best Album Cover category.

Previous winners Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter returned as nominees. Roan earned nods in two categories — Record of the Year and Best Pop Solo Performance — for her song The Subway. Carpenter received six nominations, matching last year’s total, including Best Pop Solo Performance and Best Pop Vocal Album. If Carpenter wins Best Pop Vocal Album this year, she will become the first artist to secure this award in consecutive years.

The Best New Artist category features emerging talents such as Addison Rae, Olivia Dean, Katseye, and Lola Young.

Other key categories include Record of the Year, with nominees like DtMF by Bad Bunny, Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter, Anxiety by Doechii, Wildflower by Billie Eilish, Abracadabra by Lady Gaga, Luther by Kendrick Lamar featuring SZA, and The Subway by Chappell Roan.

Song of the Year contenders include Abracadabra by Lady Gaga, Anxiety by Doechii, APT. by ROSÉ & Bruno Mars, DtMF by Bad Bunny, Golden by HUNTR/X, Luther by Kendrick Lamar featuring SZA, Manchild by Sabrina Carpenter, and Wildflower by Billie Eilish.

The Recording Academy has published the complete list of nominees across 95 categories on its official website.
