“Honestly, for a boy from East End London, born in Leytonstone, to be standing here in Windsor Castle and receiving an award from His Majesty the King… it’s truly a special moment. Without a doubt, this is the proudest moment of my life,” Beckham said after the ceremony.
He also expressed gratitude for being recognized not only for his football career but also for his humanitarian efforts, which he has been involved in since his teenage years.

Since 2005, he has served as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, advocating for children’s rights, education, and equality around the world.
