AFRAM 2026 is celebrating its 50th anniversary with 3 days of music, culture and community events at Baltimore’s Druid Hill Park. The free festival runs through Sunday, June 21, bringing major performers, local vendors and family activities together, as the Baltimore Chronicle editorial team reports.
AFRAM 2026 Schedule and Headliners
The anniversary program combines national R&B stars with Baltimore talent. Mario opened the headline series on Friday, while Chlöe Bailey performed Saturday. Charlie Wilson and Dru Hill are scheduled for Sunday.

What Visitors Can Expect at Druid Hill Park

Festival visitor Yvonne Peters Washington said her family returns annually to celebrate with the community. She also stressed the importance of supporting local vendors.
AFRAM remains one of the East Coast’s largest African American cultural festivals. Its 50th anniversary places Baltimore music, entrepreneurship and community identity at the center of the celebration.
