The Cabinet of Ministers adopted a long-term strategy for the thermal modernization of buildings until 2050, as well as the concept of a state target program for supporting thermal modernization until 2030.
Government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnychuk announced this in a telegram, Ukrinform reports.
“A long-term strategy for the thermal modernization of buildings was approved for the period until 2050. An operational plan of measures for the implementation of the long-term strategy in 2024-2026 was approved. The concept of a state target economic program to support the thermal modernization of buildings until 2030 was approved,” Melnichuk wrote.
The government customer of the thermal modernization support program will be the Ministry of Development of Communities, Territories and Infrastructure.
As reported, the State Agency for Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving has begun developing programs for state support for the thermal modernization of housing and enterprises.
