Ukrainians intend to transfer part of the production of drones to Lithuania.

This was announced by the country's Foreign Minister Gabrielius Landsbergis, reports JP.lt.

“We could also talk about joint production. It seems that the Ukrainians are interested in the possible transfer of part of the production to Lithuania. With our help, well, perhaps partly for ourselves, if we could provide them with the drones they need,” Landsbergis said.

According to the head of the Lithuanian Foreign Ministry, the methods of warfare are changing, so Lithuania should learn from Ukraine, which has already has been fighting the Russian invasion for years.

“Lithuania can borrow this experience. We understand perfectly well that if we are preparing before a war, then it may be based on geography and other circumstances. This experience is relevant for us,” said the head of Lithuanian diplomacy.

Landsbergis added that “we need to learn now” and that the Ukrainian side is ready to share experience.

“Such a case is exceptional. The highest price was paid for the lessons that we can learn,” the minister emphasized.
