In the first half of this year, the average salary of Ukrainian citizens did not exceed 16,300 hryvnia, but, as it turned out, despite the rather difficult economic situation against the backdrop of the war, the amount of “remuneration for labor” nevertheless increased somewhat.
About the fact that in the third quarter of 2023, in our country, the average monthly salary increased by 22.7 percent, if we compare it with the same period in 2022, and already amounted to 17 percent. 937 hryvnia, writes NBN, referring to the financial report published on the official page of the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
However, in some areas, wages significantly exceeded the average, and these are:
- in information and telecommunications — 37 542 hryvnia (an increase of 20.3 percent when compared with the 3rd quarter of last year);
- in the financial and insurance sectors—34,189 hryvnia (an increase of 29.8 percent);
- in air transport—33,205 hryvnia (an increase of 21.9 percent).< /li>
