In Ukraine, 6,073 families have already received preferential mortgage loans under the Yeselya program for more than UAH 9 billion.
As Ukrinform reports, the Ministry of Economy reported this.
“Thanks to the affordable lending program, even more Ukrainian families were able to improve their living conditions. To date, mortgage agreements have already been issued for more than UAH 9 billion. In particular, over the past week, 262 loans were issued in the amount of UAH 422.1 million,” noted Deputy Minister of Economy Nadezhda Bigun.
Over the past week, 136 military personnel and security officials, 25 teachers, 20 doctors, 5 scientists received loans at 3% interest.
In addition, 73 Ukrainians without their own housing, 2 IDPs and 1 veteran received loans at 7% interest.
Residents took out more mortgage loans: the city of Kyiv – 65, Kyiv – 52, Lviv – 15, Vinnitsa and Khmelnitsky – 13 each, Rivne, Odessa and Volyn regions – 10 each.
More often, loans were taken to purchase housing on the secondary market (204 loans) and from developers (50 loans). Also, 8 Ukrainians took out loans to purchase housing in buildings under construction.
As reported, the Oselya program began its work in October last year. The program is being implemented by the Ministry of Economy together with the Ministry of Digital Development and PJSC Ukrfinzhilye. Partner banks are: Oschadbank, Privatbank, Ukrgasbank, Globus Bank, Sky Bank, Ukreximbank and Sense Bank.
