The National Bank decided to issue Export Credit Agency PJSC a license to carry out the activities of ECA as an insurer with a special status, including insurance, reinsurance and provision of guarantees.

What is known
This decision was made by the Committee for Supervision and Regulation of the Activities of Non-Banking Financial Services Markets The NBU accepted on December 25, 2023.
The Export Credit Agency complied with the requirements of the solvency and capital adequacy standard (NCAP).
So, with an estimated value of NCAP of UAH 312,157 thousand, acceptable assets amount to 1,879,540 thousand UAH, of which: cash – 472,278 thousand UAH (25.12%); government bonds of Ukraine, which are on the exchange list – UAH 1,407,262 thousand (74.88%).
The Export Credit Agency was included in the State Register of Financial Institutions on February 6, 2023 No. 21/224-rk .
Recall
As of December 1, 2023, ECA supported the implementation of 136 export agreements in the amount of 8.57 billion hryvnia. Banks issued loans to exporters under ECA insurance coverage in the amount of 1.22 billion hryvnia.
