He also commented on the information that WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury has not yet started working out in the gym on the eve of the fight.

«I am five weeks I can box all the time. I've been preparing for the fight with Fury for many years — since he beat Wladimir Klitschko. He didn’t know about me because I’m not such a big person in the boxing world. And I prepared for both Anthony Joshua and him from the very beginning, when I started in professional boxing», — said Alexander Usik.

At the same time, the Ukrainian also assured that he is not afraid of his future opponent Tyson Fury.

It is worth noting that the Usik fight — Fury will take place on February 17, 2024 in Saudi Arabia.
