The NBU reported this information, URA-Inform reports.
Starting Wednesday, February 14, the National Bank of Ukraine put into circulation a commemorative coin «Love». It is made of nickel silver and has a denomination of five hryvnia.
The NBU press service noted that on the obverse of the commemorative coin there is a stylized rose in the shape of a heart.
«Her petals — These are the words «love», written in the most common languages of the world. This further emphasizes the universality and boundlessness of this feeling, which knows no boundaries or language barriers», — the message says.
The reverse of the coin depicts a heart from which waves radiate evenly. This composition symbolizes the comprehensiveness of love, the vibrations of which reach the innermost depths of the soul. This is the meaning that artists Taran Vladimir, Kharuk Alexander and Kharuk Sergey put into the design of the coin.
From today, the coin «Love» will be sold in the NBU online store, and gradually — and in distribution banks. Coin circulation — up to 50 thousand pieces.
We recall that it was previously reported that a new initiative on the Armed Forces of Ukraine was proposed in the Rada: it became known that what payments are being prepared.
