Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces Valery Zaluzhny defended his dissertation in law, receiving the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy.

Details : It is reported that the dissertation itself and the annotation to it cannot be viewed, since they constitute a state secret.
However, it is known, based on the keywords, that the topic of Zaluzhny’s dissertation is related to military discipline, disciplinary offenses and penalties.
Publications by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the topic of the dissertation are also devoted to issues of military disciplinary legislation. In his works, Zaluzhny is signed as a graduate student of the department of administrative, civil and economic law and process of the Academy of the State Penitentiary Service. The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine repeatedly came to the academy’s events, for example, on the occasion of the graduation of its students.
The defense itself took place at the National University “Odessa Law Academy”, the president of which is ex-regional Sergei Kivalov.
