It is in Ukraine that they must prove that democracies are capable of protecting life from any form of terror, – Zelensky

More air defense systems, more air defense missiles are what directly saves life.

In a conversation with British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak, President Zelensky spoke about the consequences of today's attack by Russian terrorists. The missile trajectories were deliberately calculated by the enemy to cause more harm, this is completely deliberate terror.

President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky spoke about this in his address.

“And just in these last few days – from December 29 to today – Russia has already used almost 300 missiles and more than 200 suicide bombers against Ukraine. Not a single state has ever repelled such combined attacks: drones and missiles, including aeroballistic ones. “Today alone, ten “daggers” were shot down,” the president emphasized.

He added that more air defense systems, more air defense missiles are what directly saves life.

“And by our defense of the sky here in Ukraine, we must prove that democracies are capable of protecting life from any form of terror. If this is not done now in Ukraine, then, unfortunately, Russian terror will continue to spread throughout Europe and the world. The feeling of impunity among the Russian elite, formed over the decade of their unlimited power, has already led to many sufferings and deaths. Russia must remember what responsibility for the destruction of life is and what the power to protect life is,” the head of state noted.
