"Fiorentina" will play in the final of the Conference League for the second time in a row.
Fiorentinabecame the first finalist of the Conference League for the 2023/24 season. In the return match of the 1/2 finals of the Conference League, the Violets drew away with Bruges – 1:1.
The Belgian club opened the scoring in the middle of the first half – Hans Vanaken scored in the 20th minute of the match.
However, at the end of the second half, the Italian team got even – in the 85th minute Lucas Beltran converted a penalty.
In the first match between these clubs, Fiorentina defeated “Bruges” (3:2). Therefore, based on the sum of two meetings (4:3), the representative of Serie A reached the final of the tournament.

The Violets will find out their opponent in the final on Thursday, May 9, after the return match between Olympiacos and Aston Villa. In the first match, the Greek club sensationally defeated Birmingham on the road (4:2).
Note that Fiorentina will play in the Conference League final for the second time in a row. Last season, the club from Florence lost to the English “West Ham” (1:2) in the decisive match for the trophy.
The Conference League final will take place on May 29 at the Hagia Sophia stadium in Athens.
