Bill No. 10378 to amend the rules of mobilization, military registration and service, which the government submitted to the Verkhovna Rada, will not be considered today. It will be sent back for revision. This was stated by the head of the Servant of the People faction, David Arakhamia.

“There was a closed meeting with the military command and a closed meeting of the Conciliation Council, which announced yesterday… Based on the results of the meeting, the bill is returned to the initiator. At the same time, we are passing on proposals developed at the committee and in working groups,” Arakhamia wrote in Telegram.
The meeting was attended by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny, Chief of the General Staff Sergei Shaptala, Minister of Defense Rustem Umerov, the leadership of the Verkhovna Rada, heads of factions and committees.
Arakhamia recalled that the discussion of the document took place in the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence in a closed regime in compliance with legal requirements for working with secret information.
“There were a lot of discussions. We understand the request of the military command and are ready to meet them halfway. But not all norms can be supported. Some provisions directly violate human rights, while others are not optimally formulated. The military command was openly told about this,” Arakhamia noted.
He added that all political forces understood and supported the need for mobilization.
“Based on the results of the meeting, the bill is returned to the initiator. At the same time, we are passing on the proposals developed by the committee and working groups,” summed up the head of the Servant of the People faction.
