Stoltenberg reported this information, URA-Inform reports.
Alliance Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg warned that Russian dictator Vladimir Putin should not think about escalation outside of Ukraine. According to him, NATO countries must send a clear signal to the head of the Kremlin.
The head of NATO emphasized that the first lesson is that the Alliance must be united. It is also necessary to increase the military presence on the eastern borders and increase military readiness and activate defense plans.
«We have done it and continue to do so to make Putin clear , that you shouldn’t even think about escalation outside of Ukraine», — Stoltenberg noted.
Commenting on recent statements by Donald Trump, NATO Secretary General noted that the Alliance has protected its allies for 75 years. This was possible thanks to the bloc's strategy, because an attack on one member of the Alliance is equivalent to an attack on all the others.
We recall that it was previously reported that a serious threat loomed over the United States: it became known who even decided to speak in Congress.
