As reported by the General Staff, the withdrawal of Ukrainian Armed Forces units from the city is carried out in order to avoid encirclement, as well as to preserve the life and health of military personnel.
“Our soldiers fulfilled their military duty with dignity, did everything possible to destroy the best Russian military units, and inflicted significant losses on the enemy in manpower and equipment,” the message says.
” The lives of military personnel are the highest value. We will return Avdiivka anyway,” the General Staff summed up.
