Ukroboronprom will cooperate with Dynamit Nobel Defense
On February 17, 2024, JSC “Ukrainian Defense Industry” (“Ukroboronprom”) signed a document on cooperation with the leading German company Dynamit Nobel Defense, which was founded in 1865 by Alfred Nobel. The company is a German arms manufacturer, a subsidiary of the Israeli company Rafael.
“Ukroboronprom continues to expand the geography of international partnerships with leading global companies. On February 17, 2024, the Company signed a Memorandum with one of the leaders of the global arms community – Dynamit Nobel Defense,” says the press service of Ukroboron.
The general director of the company, German Smetanin, noted that this partnership is important for the Ukrainian victory.
“Our partnership is important for strengthening defense capabilities, important for the Victory of Ukraine and building the Arsenal of the free world,” he noted.
- The German defense concern Rheinmetall and the Ukrainian Defense Industry (Ukroboronprom) have created a joint venture. The new enterprise will carry out maintenance and repair of equipment supplied by Ukrainian partners. Also at this enterprise the localization of production of leading models of Rheinmetall AG equipment will take place. LLC “Rheinmetall – Ukrainian Defense Industry” was registered on October 18.
- In January of this year, it became known that Ukroboronprom will begin cooperation with four defense companies of Lithuania.
- The companies specialize in the creation of thermal imaging sights, modern systems for remote initiation of detonation, electronic warfare equipment, communications, etc. . Letters of intent were signed on January 10 during a visit to the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky.
