The press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said that on the night of Monday, January 1, the “second army of the world” attacked Ukraine with strikes UAVs in several waves from four directions – from Balaklava, Cape Chauda in Crimea, Primorsko-Akhtarsk and Kursk of the Russian Federation, informs NBN.
It is reported that almost all regions of our country were “red”, in fact in Air defense forces worked in all areas. The drones were eliminated by mobile fire groups, anti-aircraft missile units of the Ukrainian Armed Forces and fighter aircraft.
On New Year's Eve, the defenders eliminated a record number of Russian drones – 87 out of 90. A year ago, air defense forces shot down 45 attack drones on the night of January 1 Enemy UAVs.
The Russian Armed Forces also attacked the country with three Kh-31P and one Kh-59 missiles, and also fired at the Kharkov region with S-300 missiles.
Recall that on the evening of 31 December was restless in the temporarily occupied Donetsk. Local media complained about the “bavovna” who eliminated the Russian “military correspondent.”
